TEN-MAN Warndon Villages went through to the McDonald’s Worcester and District League’s Bernard Finnegan Cup final after a 6-4 extra-time win at Fernhill Heath Athletic.

When Villages’ keeper Darren Wise was sent off for abusive language to the referee, Heath quickly went 2-0 ahead through Craig Bufton and Mike Cox.

However, Warndon came back strongly to equalise through Mark Thomas and Toby Attwood.

Cox then put Athletic 3-2 in front before Tyler Attwood sent the match into extra-time with a 90th-minute equaliser.

Although Cox completed his hat-trick for Heath, Tyler Attwood did the same for Warndon, who finished deserved winners.

Warndon’s Steve Turberfield covered every blade of grass to negate Heath’s numerical advantage.

Arrow Upton 2000 also required extra-time to reach the final of the Baylis Cup, eventually defeating a plucky New Barbourne side 7-3, with Luke Corbett netting four times.

Goals from Ryan Scullion and Mark Scrivener gave Ale Madrid a 2-1 victory over Drakes Broughton Rangers in the Southam Trophy semi-finals.

In the final, they will play Talbot or Brickfields with the Droitwich club beating New Inn Saints 5-1 in their quarter-final with two goals from Jack Weatherby.

Falcons beat Virgin Athletic 2-1 to reach the Katherine Rayer Cup final with James Lush and Chris Parker their scorers.

The Bell @ Pensax Reserves are through to the Phipps Cup final with Mike Buckland, Adam Kite and Mike Fox all on target as they won 3-2 at Worcester Saints Reserves.

In the Kilbourne Kay semi-finals, Malvern Rangers battled to a 5-4 success at rivals Colwall St James.
