CALLOW End's Marc Huxley saw off Boyzone star Shane Lynch to win the British Drift Championship first round.
Against all odds, the 30-year-old, of Worcester's Huxley Motorsport, triumphed in his retro RA28 SR20-powered Toyota Celica in terrible weather.
Huxley conquered all of his higher horse-powered opponents in his newly-prepared Avon Tyre-sponsored vehicle at Lydden Hill race circuit in Kent.
He slid his way to victory by impressing the judges in the motorsport, which requires the drivers to keep their cars sideways at all times while keeping close to the opponent's vehicle at high speeds.
Former British GT Championships driver Lynch, who still performs with Irish band Boyzone, finished second and Simon Perry was in third place.
