RUSHWICK knocked Feckenham off the top of Worcestershire Cricket League Second XI Division Two with an eight-wicket win.

Tony Douglas took 6-56 and Graham Davies made 78 not out for Rushwick as Wormelow took over the lead with a 35-run win over Lye.

The Division One leaders were unaffected as all the games were abandoned with just one over bowled after tea.

There were good first-innings displays as Netherton captain Ahsan Zaman made 95 not out and Evesham’s Nasir Mehmood scored 93.

Grant Morris took 6-30 for Bewdley as Redditch were dismissed for 146.

In Division Three, Chaddesley Corbett’s lead over Five Ways Old Edwardians was reduced by four points after the latter club’s winning draw with Alvechurch and Hopwood.

Himbleton are still 20 points in front in Division Four but Himley are now second after Barnards Green failed to raise a side.

Josh Element scored 101 not out for Ross and Ewan Finlayson 93no for Hanley Castle and Upton.

Harborne still lead Division Six but Harvington beat Birlingham and are just two points adrift.

Worcester Nomads’ Jack Elston made 103 not out and Ombersley’s Liam Williams took 4-33 after scoring 93.

New leaders Stone and Belbroughton played the only uninterrupted match in the league in Division Seven North. James Batsford hit 152 as his side posted 277-3 to gain a winning draw as the visitors closed on 224-5.

On Sunday, a league representative side will face a Herefordshire second XI at Bewdley (1pm).
