IT IS halfway through the Worcester Badminton League season and Santi Rajaraman leads the way in Division One.
Rajaraman achieved 3-0 wins over Sinoj Sebastian and Kashif Ali and beat Przemek Iwachow 2-1.
But Rajaraman lost narrowly to Ganesh Pillai and Chris Alexander.
Pillai took one game 21-19 and the match 2-1.
Against Alexander, Rajaraman was one game up and 14-6 ahead in the second before Alexander triumphed 2-1.
Alexander is second in the division, having also beaten Sebastian 2-1.
Previous leader Pillai drops to third place.
Neil Darwell moved up to first place in Division Two after a 3-0 win over Steve Wilson.
Dean Hardie is second after 3-0 wins over Wilson and Beth Brown.
Hassan Javed defeated Hardie and Darwell to climb into third place.
Alex Howard extended his lead at the top of Division Three by beating Laura Leach 3-0.
Tom Wall’s 3-0 victory over Jeremy Swift was enough to keep him top of the Superleague.
Alexander is second and Ali dropped to third after beating Swift 3-0 and losing 2-1 to Javed.
The league welcomes players of all standards and new members can begin playing matches immediately.
