JUNIOR competitors from Worcester Jujitsu Club took more medals than any other county junior team at the TJK Midland Youth Championships.
The Worcester event attracted many top Midlands clubs, producing exciting and technical bouts.
Last year’s winners Bromsgrove looked like they were going to claim the honours again.
But then Worcester’s Jakub Wasilewski, Harrison Booth, Alex Perrin and Willem van der Kleijn delivered fantastic performances to secure first places in their respective categories.
Jonathan Ash and Harriet Lees also won gold medals.
There were silvers for Anjes van der Kleijn, William Clews, Ben Bennett, Emma Oliver and Daniel Dillon.
Matthew Prior, Daisy Dillon, Daffyd Volk-Evans, Adam McFee and Jacob Hardwick collected bronze medals.
The city club are based at St John’s Sports Centre.
