Resounding win for Worcester bowlers over St Martins
WORCESTER thrashed St Martin's by 39 shots 112-73 at Wood Terrace after winning five of the six triples.
Picking up a six, the Hereford club led by seven after five ends but Worcester went 18 ahead with two fives, a four and two threes.
The hosts ran out comfortable winners.
The triple led by Andy Cook only conceded shots on three ends and outbowled their rivals to win by 25.
After trailing for the first few ends, Ian Hunt’s trio got two fives, a four and a three to win by 17.
Other victories came from M Bullock (7), A Jackson (5) and R Ling (2). St Martin's only winning trio were led by Ron Perry by 17.
