WORCESTER’S Nunnery Wood High School year eight athletics team qualified for the Worcestershire Summer Games super six competition at Bromsgrove School and Ryland Centre.
The students took part in events against the best teams from across the county in a competitive event.
Each athlete had to complete one track and one field event and a mixed medley relay as Nunnery Wood finished fourth overall.
School physical education teacher Ben Brogan said: “They battled extremely hard in all the events and were a credit to the school all day with their behaviour and attitude towards the games.”
