NORTH Midlands Under-18s will make the short trip to Burntwood to play Staffordshire in the opening match of their short representative season on October 19 (7.30pm).
North Midlands will then play Warwickshire at Broadstreet near Coventry on October 30 (10.30am) and conclude their season with a return to Broadstreet on November 1 for the annual Super Sunday tournament where they will play either East Midlands, Leicestershire or Notts, Lincs & Derbyshire.
North Midlands, who have new lead coach this year in John Das-Gupta from Shropshire, held an assessment session at Droitwich.
They have named an extended squad for a first training session at Bromsgrove School on September 25.
There will be further training session s at King’s School, Worcester on October 9 and 16 ahead of the Staffordshire match.
