WORCESTER United maintained their 100 per cent start with a 3-1 win at Rubery in West Midlands Women's Football League Division One South.
United dominated the first half and went ahead when player of the match Annie Highway picked out Michelle Davis, who hit a powerful strike low into the corner from the edge of the box.
Rubery countered and levelled by half-time.
United regrouped and captain Becky Evans slotted home a second-half penalty before completing her brace to seal the win.
Manager Ryan O’Connor said: “We dominated the first half and were disappointed to concede against the run of play but we can be pleased with the way the team reacted to get the win we needed.”
United play Solihull United in the league on Sunday at the University of Worcester (2pm).
Leaders Droitwich Spa thrashed Kenilworth Town 6-0 and host Stourbridge on Sunday (2pm).
