Worcester City (4-4-2)

5 Boot – perhaps could have done more to keep out Beck’s header, Darlington’s second goal, and unable to cut out Quakers’ crosses.

5 Gallinagh – the skipper had a tough job on his hands in containing lively left winger Gillies.

6 Hutchison – kept occupied alongside Oji and did not have it easy competing in aerial duels with 6ft 4in Beck.

7 OJI – the pick of his team’s defenders for the second week running, clearing the danger when possible and remaining composed.

6 Weir –a goal-line clearance at 1-0, perhaps unwittingly, was the highlight of the left-back’s difficult day.

5 Steele – contribution was fleeting and like, his team-mates, found it difficult to make a positive impression.

5 Fitzpatrick – the midfielder, the only outfield player wearing gloves, made little impact and replaced at half-time to no real surprise.

6 Nelson-Addy – got his team’s only goal and provided some resistance in the middle of the park.

6 Keane – played an active role in helping Weir on the left flank and a threatening presence in the final third early on.

5 Hughes – had only one sight of goal, blasting over at 2-0 after Nelson-Addy had made a surging run, but did make a goal-line clearance.

6 Bishop – tried to make things happen in his return to the starting XI but was well-marshalled by Darlington’s defence.
