A NINE-goal thriller at CSKA Worcester in McDonald’s Worcester and District League Sunday Division Two saw visitors FC Korono come away with a 5-4 victory.

Jack Pomroy (2), Lewis Jones, Ed Roscoe and Brad Smith were on target for Korono.

Josh Homans, Lewis Finch, Luke Fowler and Shaun Newman replied for CSKA who still lead the division despite three successive defeats.

Worcester Athletic beat Colwall St James 3-2 with goals from Adam Whitehead (2) and Macauley Austin.

Drakes Broughton Rangers hammered Hallow Village 7-0 in Division One.

Hallow returned to the top of the Premier Division on goal difference with a 6-2 victory over Colwall Village.

The Gloster Arms were held to a 2-2 draw by Riverside.

Ed Lyons and Andy Fletcher scored for the Gloster with Naim Rexhaj and Andre Rodrigues replying for Riverside.

Grosvenor Sports won 7-3 at Malvern Radar Youth in Division Four.

Ryan Collins cracked a treble and Rob Burston a double for Grosvenor.

St Johns Colts had a narrow 4-3 win at Riley’s.

Ben Gillam, Sam Hayes, Alex Hewitt and Jack Godwin were Saints’ scorers with Adam Turner bagging two for Riley’s.

Matt Telford hit a hat-trick for Brewers Arms who beat GDL Athletic 4-1.

In the Worcester Nursing Sunday Minor Cup, Clifton Rovers went through 3-0 against Prince of Wales with strikes from Josh Stafford, Rich Taylor and Rich Tipping.

However, despite a brace from Gary Jones, Arrow went out 5-3 against Bromsgrove Corinthians.
