WORCESTER City have signed Rotherham United defender Tom Rose on a one-month youth loan.

The Shrewsbury-born 19-year-old penned a short-term deal with the National League North side today, having previously enjoyed temporary spells with Stocksbridge Park Steels and Sheffield FC.

Rose, yet to play for the Championship club's first team competitively, was previously on the books at Wolverhampton Wanderers and has a base in Telford.

He should go into the squad for City's home game with Halifax Town tomorrow (3pm).
