UNIVERSITY of Worcester student Sam Knott will return to the North Midlands Under-20s squad for their final group match against East Midlands at Kettering on Sunday (2.30pm).

The Bromsgrove lock sat out the 60-26 win over Buckinghamshire at Dudley Kingswinford after he was sent off for a high tackle in his club’s league match against Launceston.

Knott, who joined Bromsgrove from Luctonians before Christmas, has now served a three-week suspension and comes back into the county squad.

A win or a draw for North Midlands on Sunday would take them through to the national quarter-finals of the competition.
