Worcester (3-5-2)
6 ROSS – if it wasn’t for the goalkeeper it could have been an even more miserable afternoon for City as he made several good saves. My man of the match.
5 Oji – an error-strewn display from the experienced defender who was fortunate not to gift Alty two goals following a couple of tame headers.
5 Sharpe – was at fault for the hosts’ second goal as he headed the ball into the path of Chris Lynch to score from close range.
6 J Keane – after a sluggish start at centre-back his versatility came to City’s aid as he played at right-back and central midfield.
4 Steele – was exposed in an unfamiliar wing-back position and was ineffective going forward before being hauled off at half-time.
5 Jackman – got better in the second half but struggled to have much influence on the game as Alty dominated for large spells.
6 English – City were overrun in midfield early on but the 31-year-old battled hard and did a decent job when asked to play up front.
6 Nelson-Addy – was guilty of giving the ball away at times but made a few positive runs and whipped in some good crosses.
5 C Keane – a disappointing day at the office for the 20-year-old whose deliveries were erratic and cut a frustrated figure for much of the match.
4 Murphy – lasted just 45 minutes after doing little to help City’s cause in attack during a dismal opening period.
5 Craig – backed by caretaker boss John Snape to score the goals to keep his side up, the striker registered one effort which went well wide.
