NUNNERY Wood High boys' key stage four team won the National Schools Badminton Championships' Worcestershire round.
Having progressed through the district stage earlier in the year, the Worcester players put on an excellent display at Perdiswell Leisure Centre in the round-robin competition.
The Nunnery Wood boys had plenty of opportunity to showcase their array of shots and ability to work together as a team.
Matt Robinson, Luke Robinson, Hugo Simmonds and James Ciriello beat the best badminton teams from around the county to progress to the regional round.
Tom Kempster, Nunnery Wood's head of physical education, said: “A massive well done to the boys involved who played fantastically.
"This is a great achievement and we wish them all the best in the next round.”
