BRETFORTON Old Boys need six points from their remaining three games to retain the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League Division One title following a 3-1 victory at Tewkesbury Town.

Second-half goals from Baird, Clarke and Davis earned Old Boys the points.

Stour Excelsior defeated Broadway United 1-0 thanks to a first-half strike from Featherstone.

In Division Two New Inn Pershore closed the gap at the top, winning 3-1 at Harvington with goals from Ballard, Rushton and Brant.

TDMS produced an excellent display to defeat Stratford United 3-0 as the academy team scored through Rogers, McGarr and Remekie.

Ambi Allsports defeated neighbours Bengeworth 4-2 with goals from Aidan Booth (2), Gary Booth and Camm.

Bengeworth replied through Burford and Giles.

Ashton 88 and Evesham United Sunday shared four goals.

The home team scored with an own goal and Eade, while the Robins replied through Homans and Saunders.
