ON-LOAN Worcester City winger Chay Scrivens has secured a trial at Championship outfit Queen’s Park Rangers.

Scrivens is part of West Bromwich Albion’s youth set-up and joined Worcester on loan last month until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old, who has previously had a spell at Torquay United, has made six appearances off the bench for City.

But he missed the Blue and Whites’ 2-1 to Brackley Town in Vanarama National League North on Tuesday night as he was training with QPR.

A move to Ian Holloway’s side could end his time at City, but caretaker boss John Snape hopes he takes his opportunity.

“Chay has gone on trial at QPR,” Snape said.

“It depends on how it goes. If he does well, they might have him down there all week, so good luck to the kid.

“I hope he gets himself a move there.”
