WORCESTER professional footballer Chelsea Weston has been left looking for a new club on the eve of the FA Women's Super League Spring Series contest.
The 27-year-old lost her job after Notts County Ladies, who were due to kick off their season against Arsenal tomorrow, announced they would be folding.
Weston, who went to Worcester's former Elgar Technology College, Worcester Sixth Form College and Loughborough University, said: "I'm gutted and in complete shock."

The ex-England under 20s right-back, who has been hit by injury in recent seasons, signed for County in March 2016 after seven years with Birmingham City in two spells.
County owner and chairman Alan Hardy announced the women's team had been withdrawn from the league and would play no matches in the series.
He faced a near-£1million bill to keep the club afloat this season and had hoped to restructure debts inherited from the club's previous chairman Ray Trew.
The team were created in 2014 when Lincoln, formed in 1995, were controversially relocated to Nottingham and rebranded.
Gutted and in complete shock 💔

Some people need to remember this is more than a football club folding. This is about a group of great girls who have just lost their jobs.
