Sad state of affairs.

The relegation will result in lower gates, less revenue and so the tide will be against them.

A knight, shining or not, is so needed.

I was one who wanted away from St George’s Lane but had I known how stitched up the club would be by all and sundry I would have been happy to stay .

I hope the new manager has the skill set to bring about an instant return but with new players next season. It won’t be easy.

Just returned from a long trip to Fylde and the inevitable has happened and the City are relegated.

Can’t fault the players for their effort but the manager looked a forlorn figure sat on the bench.

Fylde are not a big club but are obviously run properly with a superb out-of-town ground and obviously a structure where everyone is pulling in the same direction unlike the shambles running the city.

Time for change at the top and time for the council to do their bit and give the City a home back in the city as being nomads is a death sentence.

Sad day for the City and sounds like the boys gave it a good go.

Don't think we actually have a bad side, 10th-best defence in the league and there can't be many relegated teams that have ever been able to say that.

It is clear the problems lay at the other end of the pitch which just makes the Lee Hughes decision even stranger.

Paul Hundley

Great team performance most of the game, silly errors again were our downfall. Well done Snapper (John Snape) and Danny (Jackman) on what you have achieved since you took over.

We play better than most of the opponents, lots of the time we don’t get the rub of the green or that little bit of luck. We are WCFC forever.

Wayne Stephen Harris

A great effort from the team. Saving the club from liquidation is going to take some doing but if the club can get a ground in Worcester before that happens then the club can rebuild.

Allan Lessemun

Wish I felt sad but I don't. I used to follow Worcester City but the heart was ripped out when we left St George's Lane. Worcester should be in Worcester!

If my dad John Hancox could see this he would be so down. He was a director at the club for many years in the 70s and 80s. It was an amazing club back then and had an amazing chairman in George Goode. Should never have sold the ground.

Goodbye @WorcesterCityFc. I've got some great memories of the club and St George's Lane. Club put to the sword by the board.

That's it for @WorcesterCityFc then. We need some direction and leadership now. Hampson must be removed and we'll come back stronger.
