WORCESTER City Youth lifted the Worcestershire FA Saturday Under 14s Cup with a 2-1 win over Evesham United Juniors Robins in the final at Bewdley Town.
City had beaten their opponents twice in the Junior Premier League and Joe Palmer put them ahead when he latched onto Ethan Sherwood's pass and lifted his shot over the keeper.
Palmer scored again after good work from Prince Henry who outpaced his man and delivered a low cross into the box.
The second half saw a more determined display from Evesham who reduced the deficit from a corner with the ball headed in from close range.
But City held on resolutely to their lead and keeper Joel Chadwick pulled off a late save to ensure they won the cup.
