MANOR Park Bowling Club slumped to a heavy 31-shot defeat to Gloucester City, two days after losing to Worcester.
B Morgan, A Taylor, A Thompson and P McMahon claimed a 24-11 victory, while S Childs, D Starkey, N Kenward and R Orgill won 16-13 and C Kenward, K Spencer, M Pilling and P Hughes also came out on top 16-12.
However, Gloucester’s quartet proved too strong against S Thompson, P Hudson, A Colwill and P Buxton, running out emphatic 42-7 winners.
S Hubbard, A Dorey, J Morgan and T Hunaban lost 25-9 as Manor Park went down 103-72.
It was a closer affair against Worcester, but they still slipped to a 93-84 loss.
There were wins for S Childs, A Dorey and P McMahon (19-12), M McGowan, G Wintermute and N Kenward (17-12) and B Morgan, A Thompson and A Colwill (16-14).
But the Malvern side’s trio S Berrow, V Shearsmith and P Buxton crashed to a costly 21-7 defeat.
There were also losses for S Thompson, J Morgan and N Williams (18-16) and G Morris, P Hudson and T Hunaban (16-9) as Worcester won the tie by nine shots.
