VILLAGE sides Kempsey and Rushwick are experiencing contrasting fortunes in Worcestershire League Division Three so far this season.
Their starts were highlighted when hosts and leaders Kempsey thrashed Rushwick by 157 runs to maintain their 100 per cent winning record from the first six games.
The third-from-bottom visitors have just one win and one draw ahead of Saturday's home game with fellow early strugglers Malvern.
Kempsey will visit fourth-placed Alvechurch and Hopwood after the O'Neill brothers did the damage against Rushwick who slumped to 66 all out in reply to 223-7.
Zak scored 81 not out while Sam hit 47 and took 7-28 from 12 overs.
