WORCESTER'S bowlers entertained the Barbarians in their second prestige match to celebrate the club's 150 years.
But they found the visitors in fine form and went down by 29 shots.
Conceding two fives and a four in the first five ends gave Barbarians a 20-shot lead.
Barbarians continued to increase their advantage after picking up a six, five and two fours.
They finished with three winning rinks against two narrow Worcester successes.
President Ian Hunt’s rink contested a tight first 12 ends and pulled away to triumph by four shots.
Colin Hemming’s foursome won by two after scoring two threes over the latter ends.
John Weston’s rink led by 10 at 13 ends but then conceded shots to eventually draw.
