HARRIERS chairman Colin Gordon has confirmed that midfielder Elton Ngwatala won’t be returning to the club as he readies himself for a move to League One.
The charismatic Frenchman had been offered a new deal this summer but is now set to join his former Aggborough team-mate Arthur Gnahoua in moving up into the Football League.
The former PSG youngster put in some memorable performances and goals during his stay, netting 10 goals in 57 appearances since Christmas 2015.
Sending him off with his best wishes, Gordon explained: “I am pretty sure he has [his next move sorted]. He’ll be moving to League One as well as Arthur Gnahoua.
“They brought great excitement down here and were a massive part of what we did last year, so they go with our blessing.
“They came here on £150, both kicking their heels with nowhere to go.
“The first results we’ll be looking out for is theirs – we’re really excited for them because they’re great lads.
“We want to give the opportunity to other lads like that.”
