FOUR Evesham Golf Club members braved the sweltering conditions when they completed the Longest Day Golf Challenge 2017 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Gavin Griffiths, Denny Smith, Anthony Rock and Stuart Deacon completed the 72-hole marathon between 5am and 9pm.
They covered approximately 40 kilometres.
With two best stableford scores counting, the foursome totalled 347 points, raising £860 for the charity.
Meanwhile, 31 ladies from Evesham battled hot temperatures to play in the June Medal.
Results, Division 1: Melanie Evans 75 points, Ruth Masters 76 points, Annie Bird 77 points.
Division 2: Gill Smith 71 points, Marlene Billings 75 points, Carolyn Washbourne 78 points.
Division 3: Penny Osborne 70 points, Eunice Allen 77 points, Dinah Wood with 80 points.
