MARTLEY Primary School's year six pupils enjoyed a day out on the River Severn in Worcester learning about bell boating.
Designed by Fladbury-based Olympic canoe coach David Train the twin-hulled, stable boats are used for introducing all ages to water sports.
Using two boats the youngsters, teachers and their host from Worcester Rowing Club explored the river.
The school will be putting their new-found skills into practice at a county regatta this month.
