OFFENHAM’S Dan Hughes aims to impress in the Junior National Autograss Championships in Herefordshire this weekend.
Hughes, pictured above, has done well so far this year in both his junior saloon and special.
The 16-year-old is second in the British Autograss Series in both.
Hughes was round one and three champion in the saloon and round two victor in the special before missing out in the third after a big roll in the final.
In Lyonshall he will compete against 66 others in the junior saloon and 73 in the special.
All will be vying for a coveted final place to be champion.
Last year Hughes had great results in the national heats and made the junior special final only to dramatically roll the car.
After major repairs they got the car back out for the re-run and he finished in fourth place.
But the Chipping Campden School pupil hopes to improve further in his last year as a junior driver.
