JON Newey followed up an impressive run in Bugatti 10k by winning the half marathon in Salisbury.
The Malvern Joggers runner finished fifth at Prescott Hill in 37 minutes 28 seconds, with Andrew Brown coming 120th in 51.40 before securing victory in Salisbury 54321 in 1.28.18 ahead of Julie Mitchell who did it in 1.58.50.
Lynda Broadway and Mike Anstey took on the 50k walk, finishing in a personal best time of 8.48.17. Broadway was first in her category with Anstey second.
Mark Dillon completed Salisbury’s 20-mile event in 3.55 while Martin Reed Darby did the 50k ultra in 5.45.34.
Julie Caseley picked up a hat-trick of awards after coming first in the Worcestershire Mid-Week Series and winning golds medals in the the Hagley 10k and Worcestershire County Half Marathon Championships.
Alison Priest who is also in the FV50 category came second in the race series and won a silver in the Hagley 10k. Ian Walwyn clinched silver in the MV60 age category.
