ALAN Ormerod and Sue Hughes won Worcester Golf and Country Club’s long-standing Maggs Vase competition.
Played in a stableford format partners were drawn with 24 ladies and 24 men taking part.
Ormerod and Hughes won with 42 points ahead of Brian Warrington and Barbara Faulkes on 36.
Ken Roe and Jane Nicklin took third on countback with five pairs on 35.
Senior captain Adam Scott and lady captain Penny Herriman presented the prizes.
