REDDITCH are looking unstoppable in their quest for Birmingham League status with just three games remaining.

The Worcestershire League Division One leaders won at Stourport to go 34 points ahead.

Tom Field (71) and Russell Southwick (116 not out) ensured Redditch posted 302-4 before Waqas Ali picked up 5-49 to seal victory by 154 runs.

Bewdley and Cookley have an outside chance of the title as both secured maximum-point wins.

Chaddesley Corbett crushed title rivals Evesham by 234 runs to regain the Division Two top spot.

Bilal Hassan (94), Sakib Ali (78) and Waqur Ahmed (54) guided the hosts to 284-6 before Ikram Mussaddaq (7-29) helped skittle Evesham for 50.

Third-placed Bredon are just eight points below the top two after defeating Wormelow by eight wickets.

In Division Three Netherton’s victory at Rushwick ensured the race for promotion remained alive.

Despite Lewis Hooper (6-60) taking his second consecutive six-wicket haul in Netherton's 167 Danny Lowe (5-34) helped seal victory by 98 runs.

Following a winning draw at home to relegated Himley Himbleton only need 16 points from three games for promotion.

Zak O’Neill could not help second-placed Kempsey cross the line as a fine 7-47 from Astwood Bank’s Dennis Freeman forced a tie.

After picking up 4-68 in the first innings with Adam Baker taking 4-52 Kempsey all-rounder O'Neill then scored 150.

Craig Hughes hit 109 for Avoncroft as they easily beat Five Ways Old Edwardians and Martley fell 18 points adrift from safety as they lost at Bartestree and Lugwardine by 44 runs.

Malvern, thanks to 109no from Luke Hallion and 6-68 by Jeremy Pilgrim, could only take a losing draw against Alvechurch and Hopwood. The Division Four top three all enjoyed maximum-point wins.
