A TEAM of Malvern Joggers secured top spot in the medieval-themed The Buff Joust 24h in Holt Heath.
Nic Dauncey, Julie Mitchell, Matt Scriven, Adam Grant and Ben Toon completed 36 laps of the course which is run over a circa 4.95 mile loop, in a time of 23 hours, 29 minutes and five seconds.
A team of eight comprising of Claire Haynes, Sarah Clark, Viv Tolley, Rhian Protheroe, Ian Walwyn, Kareen Mann, Natalie Bennett, Ian Probert did 30 laps in 23.18.13 for third place.
The endurance event also saw Steve Massey finish 13 laps, 65 miles in 22.16.27 while Martin Reed-Darby managed eight laps, 39 miles in 10.37.49.
Lynda Broadway and Mike Anstey walked 47 undulating miles across Wales in 15.35. The pair’s time saw them finish 43rd out of 107 competitors.
Steve Roode did Kenilworth half marathon in 01.45 while Julie Caseley ran the Oldbury Power 10-miler in 1.24.15. She also clinched third spot in the FV55 age category.
