KIDDERMINSTER Harriers again let a lead slip late on as they were held to a 2-2 draw at Boston United in the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy.

After a goalless opening period Harriers made their dominance of the game count with two goals in 10 minutes.

First, Joe Ironside nodded down James Pearson’s cross into the path of Andre Brown who turned and eased the ball home on 56 minutes.

This was soon followed by a second as James McQuilkin’s corner was met by Ironside who turned it back across the face of goal and into the top corner. But the goals seemed to awaken the hosts who ten minutes later had one back.

After Ashley Hemmings and Reece Thompson both had chances, debutant Adam Curry found the net as he was picked out at a corner and drove the ball through a crowd of bodies.

Almost from the kick off and with their tails up, Boston scored again to level the tie as the lively Kabongo Tshimanga found his movement unanswered as he tucked the ball in at the far post.

The replay will be held at Aggborough tomorrow (7.45pm).
