WORCESTER Nomads under 12s lost twice to city rivals Old Elizabethans, but the under 11s gained a good victory over Barnards Green.
In the first game, OEs struggled early on as the Nomads bowlers maintained a solid line and length.
Tom Badger (2-15), Rob Wootton (1-23), Ross Williams (1-14) and Ben Rattue (2-6) helped reduce OEs to 30-6.
However, Stanley (32 retired), Osborne (22no), Needham (16) and Harling (12no) led their side to a respectable 99-8 from 18 overs.
Although Jamie Fern (11), Tom Webb (13), Alex Zaroulias (16) and Niels Emmerson (12) all chipped-in, Nomads eventually fell short, being bowled out for 90 with two balls remaining.
The under 11s completed a 54-run triumph over Barnards Green. Pinder Hampton and Thomas both reached 32 before retiring as Nomads made a flying start.
Barnards Green got themselves back into the game with the wickets of Austin, Henley and Davies but Oliver steadied the ship with 12 not out and enabled Nomads to reach 117.
Wickets soon started to tumble in Barnards Green's reply, which left them behind the required run-rate. The village side's total of 63 ensured that Nomads achieved victory.
Again playing OEs, the under 12s lost by seven wickets.
Nomads captain Webb made 22, but few of his colleagues could contribute as the team posted just 67-9.
Dave King (4-11) was the pick of the OEs bowlers.
Dan Goodyear's 30 not out led OEs to a comfotable win.
