STRIKER Adam Mann scored twice as Evesham United contested a 3-3 thriller with Southern League Division One West play-off rivals Swindon Supermarine.

The Jubilee Stadium draw leaves the Robins fourth ahead of tomorrow's league visit of fourth-from-bottom Slimbridge.

Despite the entertainment in tricky conditions, Evesham would like their record at headquarters to be better but they extended their unbeaten run home and away to six games.

After last Saturday’s battling 1-0 win over Paulton Rovers, the Robins fell behind in the 17th minute when Joshua Grace-Parsons finished off a flowing move.

But Mann levelled from an acute angle on 29 minutes after Mark Francis’ through-ball.

The hosts went ahead for the first time four minutes before the break as the visitors' Kieran Diaz-Benitez could only help Lewis Binns' header from Francis' cross into his own net.

But ex-Evesham midfielder Bradley Gray fired into the bottom corner to equalise immediately.

The hosts started well in the second half and Mat Liddiard nodded off target before Mann regained the lead for the Robins on 55 minutes after making the most of a defensive mix-up.

But eighth-placed Swindon bounced back again 11 minutes later with Grace-Parsons’ 20-yard free-kick levelling matters and completing the scoring.

Evesham defender Will Wellon, recently returned from a spell with North Leigh, was dismissed for a second booking late on.

Evesham: Sawyer, Dovey, Wellon, Hancock, Lewis, Liddiard, Francis (Bryan 74), Haskayne, Corrick (Brown 70), Mann, Binns. Subs not used: Tustin, Dunbar, Turley.

Attendance: 180.
