- REPORT: 21-goal Reynolds holds the key to Coventry United's door
- AS IT HAPPENED: City 3 Coventry United 0 plus the region's Saturday results
NATHAN VAUGHAN 7
Confidently dealt with the handful of times United posed a threat. Remained alert when scarcely called upon.
TYLER WEIR 7
Sometimes appears as though this level drags him down but not this time. Played with a bit of zest and a cheeky grin, winding up opponents and keeping his cool when the favour got returned.
JAMIE SMITH 8
Defied a couple of painful clouts to put in another mature display at left-back. Like others at City, his best is starting to emerge as the team finds cohesion.
MARK SMITH 9
Imposing and calm. Dealt well with anything on the ground or in the air. Part of the platform that made victory inevitable.
STAR MAN – GEORGE FORSYTH 9
Three positions played in three matches and again barely put a foot wrong. Would be interesting to see him partner Mark Smith at centre-half for a sustained period as the pair looked imperious.
NATHAN HAYWARD 8
Brains and brawn in the middle. Picked passes sensibly while things gradually developed in the final third.
MAT BIRLEY 7
Dutiful and made a positive impact both ways. A commanding performance.
BRAD BIRCH 7
Like Hayward, the customary drive and determination was on display as City placed a firm grip on proceedings.
LEE HUGHES 8
His mobility still defies his age and the clever streak came in handy, drawing out defenders for Reynolds to take up his positions.
DAVE REYNOLDS 8
Had a hand in all three goals. Probably did not find his best in the first 45 minutes yet kept going and got his rewards.
ALEX TOMKINSON 7
Like other attacking options, needed to grow into the game but offered plenty of work rate throughout. Made the all-important breakthrough.
