BARRY Warner and Neil Harrison combined to win a greensomes contest at Worcester's Ravenmeadow and Perdiswell Park Golf Club.

The duo, off a team handicap of 17, won with 39 points on countback from Chris Luff and Malcolm Dainty.

Stephen Griffiths and Matt Hughes (20) were third on 38, again on countback from Mike Williams and Andy Turner (19).

Warner and Harrison won based on their last nine-hole score of 22.  Birdies on 15 and 18 plus four pars elsewhere and scoring on every hole took the pair well into the mix.

Four double bogies threatened to spoil their day but they saw off 19 from Luff and Dainty on the back nine.

Stephen Baylis, Barrie Hope, Stephen Griffiths and John Griffiths (3.9 team handicap) won a Texas scamble with 55.1 nett.

Jane Wood, Mary Bendall, Magdelen Coomber and Kate Ingles (13.1) were second on 55.9.

Mick Huggins, Phil Lane, Geoff Jones and Dennis Morse (6.6) finished third on 58.5 from Alvin Patten, Peter Brown, Tony Cooper and Adrian Burbridge (7.3) on 58.7.

The Sunday medal eclectic final round 11 was won by Mark Brookes (28) with 67 nett on countback from Tommy Hayes (3).

Stephen Griffiths (16) was third on 69 from Steve Williams (6) on 70.

Brookes earned a handicap reduction down to 27 with Hayes' cut to two.

Barry Sandel (28) won a seniors' medal with 64 nett from Tim Delaney (17) on 67.

Dick Cumming (27) was third on 68 and Dennis Morse (14) fourth on 69.

Sandel's handicap was cut to 26.
