WORCESTER'S BLACK Pear Joggers' runners will be representing Worcestershire at the Cross-Country Inter-Counties Championships in Loughborough today.
Adam Jackson, Neil Laurenson and Sophie Booth run at the competition which has been won by Olympic gold medallists Steve Ovett and Mo Farah in the past.
They qualified through the county championships at Warley Woods with Booth fifth, Jackson second and Laurenson eighth.
Laurenson admitted: "I’ve absolutely no chance of being anywhere near the winner but it should be a great experience.
"I owe a lot to the club for the opportunity. In particular I'm grateful to our former cross-country team captain Chris Harris for encouraging me to take part in recent races."
