KING’S School Worcester made a good start to the rugby sevens season by winning the plate competition at Christ College, Brecon.
After good performances in the group, they met Llandovery College in the quarter-finals, winning a close contest 26-17.
A strong display in the last four saw them run in four tries against Bristol Grammar School to win 26-7.
They played with discipline in the final against a physical Brecon side and the 24-5 victory was well deserved.
