CLIFTON Rovers need two wins from their final four matches to clinch the McDonald’s Worcester and District Football League Sunday Division One title.

Goals from Luke Owen, Richard Tipping and Josh Stafford gave them a 3-0 victory over fellow challengers St Johns.

Elsewhere Dean Waldron hit a hat-trick for Worcester Athletic who beat Hallow Village 3-2.

Lee Seldon and Josh Homans both bagged a brace as Arrow won 4-2 at Fernhill Heath Athletic.

Callow End moved a step closer to retaining their Premier division title with a 14-0 demolition of Upton Snodsbury. Sam Black and Ben Griffiths both cracked trebles with Joe Wood adding a double. Joey Haines also notched a hat-trick in New Inn Athletic’s 4-2 win over FC Malvern.

Meanwhile Perrywood kept their slim title hopes alive with a 4-1 success against Hallow as Antony Burton, John Pykett, Joe Bates and James Baldwin all got on the score sheet.

The top of the table clash in Division Two saw leaders FC Korono defeat nearest challengers Eaton 3-0 with strikes from Ed Jukes (2) and Brad Smith.

Shooting star of the day was Matt McClatchy who netted four times as Worcester City Wanderers crushed Kempsey Colts United.

This match was also memorable for Wanderers 52-year-old manager Darren Evans who came on as an 85th minute substitute and immediately sent a bullet header into the roof of the net.

Malvern Vale had a narrow 3-2 win over Pershore Town Eagles in their Kilbourne Kay Cup final rehearsal, with Sean Smith, Joe Dallow and Chris Aldous all on target.

In Division Three Adam Ellis netted twice for Droitwich Spa Eagles who hammered Brewers Saints 6-0 and goals from Martin Fowler and Owen Lane gave Perdiswell Colts a 2-0 victory over Powick.

Colwall Wanderers need just one point from their last two matches to secure the Division Four title in their first season in the league.

Goals from Ben Miller and Pete Boyle gave them a 2-1 win against Sebright Arms and although Worcester Saints can match their current points tally, Colwall’s goal difference is far superior. Elsewhere strikes from Jordan Fox, Tom Gurney and Connor Grant gave Spa Rovers a 3-2 victory over Malvern Radar Youth.

Lower Teme & Martley had a surprise 3-2 win at Grosvenor Sports, with Matt Brain, Oliver Geach and Tom Pearce-Mason netting for the visitors.

Darren Palmer and Josh Farnsworth replied for Grosvenor Sports.

Joe Barrett and Rhys Goode were on target for Drakes Broughton Rangers Reserves who beat Eaton Reserves 2-1.
