Andrew Dunbill from Lichfield took the age category victory.

Five Worcester St John’s members competed at Wolvey, Warwickshire, on the 10-mile course in fine conditions with little wind.

The sunny weather brought out 41 riders for Worcester St John’s weekly time trial at Severn Stoke on the 10-mile course.

But the evening had a sting in its tail as the wind picked up which meant a headwind for the return leg back up from the M50 roundabout.

Simon Garrett took the lead with a time of 21.58, just five seconds ahead of Corbett with Kevin Lane from Success Cycling rounding off the top three in 22.46.

Twenty-five riders entered the Kinnersley-Severn Stoke time trial of 20 miles.
