WORCESTER won by 35 shots 100-65 against County Ground at Cripplegate Park.

The visitors led by 21 at the halfway stage after picking up a five and four.

Over the next seven ends, Ground pulled back the arrears to 11 with a five and three fours.

But Worcester replied with two sixes and a four to finish with four winning triples.

Ground's only success came from Graham Griffiths' trio by 11.

Arthur Jackson’s trio triumphed by 21 shots after two sixes on the final two ends.

Only conceding on five ends, Nathan Banister’s triple ran out victors by 14 while Mike Bullock and Bob Hanks led their triples to six and five-shot victories respectively.

Worcester won by 19 shots 114-95 against touring side Reepham from Norfolk.

After a delayed start due to the weather, the hosts led by 13 at tea after a seven, five and four.

They increased the advantage to 22 by the 15th end with two fours.

Over the next three ends Reepham reduced the deficit to nine with a four and two threes.

Worcester extended their margin though with a four and three threes.

Leading the way was Jackson’s rink, who were forced into playing as a triple, by 28 after picking up a seven and three fours.

Only conceding six singles, Bullock’s rink won by 25 with a five, four and three threes.

Worcester’s only other successful rink led by Vernon Evans snatched a one-shot victory.
