HEREFORD FC have paid an undisclosed fee to sign left-back Danny Greenslade from Weston-super-Mare.

The former Bristol Rovers youngster, 22, was a regular for the National League South side last season.

Long-term target Greenslade is the 19th player to sign up for the promoted Bulls for the National League North campaign.

“We had an offer accepted for Danny last season,” said Hereford manager Pete Beadle.

"But because we were in the Southern League he just didn’t want to drop down.

"His ambitions are to return to full-time football and I think he felt that moving to the level we were at last season was perhaps too big a risk for him."

Greenslade turned down the offer of a new deal with the Seagulls for the coming season but Hereford had to agree compensation as he is under 24.

Beadle added: “With us now promoted and playing in the National League he sees this as a fantastic opportunity to progress his career. He’s got drive and ambition and we’re a good fit for each other.

“It is great that the board have made the funds available for us to bring Danny in.

"He is a player who has got a lot of quality about him, he’ll get up and down the pitch and has a lovely left foot.

"He has a great character and we’re excited to be working with him.”

Meanwhile, Kidderminster Harriers forward Andre Brown has sealed a move to AFC Telford United.

The 22-year-old former Worcester City loanee was offered a new deal at Harriers.

Due to his age Kidderminster have agreed a deal with United that will see the Reds retain an interest in any future transfers.

In-demand former Evesham United striker Adam Mann has decided to sign for Bath City rather than Swindon Supermarine.

Last season's Robins top scorer, 26, was due to be moving up to the Southern Premier with Swindon.

But higher-ranked National League South side Bath have instead recruited the player.

Bath have also snapped up centre-half Robbie Cundy, 21, from league rivals Gloucester City who ground-share with Evesham.
