MEMBERS of the 2nd Worcester Scouts from St John’s visited Broadwas Croquet Club to get some coaching in the game which will contribute to a skills badge.
Over two weeks two groups spent two evenings each being tutored by club members in the intricacies of the sport.
The sessions started with a brief introduction followed by a familiarisation session, a quick break for tea and biscuits then an actual game.
This was a first for the club and an event which was enjoyed by members and scouts alike.
