NEW recruit Isaac Miller faces up to three months on the sidelines after fracturing his collarbone in Worcester Warriors’ pre-season opener.

The 24-year-old hooker joined Warriors on a one-year deal from Championship side London Scottish this summer.

But he was forced off 45 minutes into his debut as Warriors went on to beat Benetton 14-12 at the Stadio di Monigo last Friday.

Director of rugby Alan Solomons also confirmed versatile back Scott van Breda (shoulder) and centre Francois Venter (dead leg) sustained injuries against the Pro14 outfit.

The two summer signings are now expected to miss Warriors’ friendly with Hartpury at Sixways on Saturday (3pm).

“Scott took a blow to his shoulder so we have got to examine him,” Solomons said.

“Isaac has fractured his collarbone so he will be out for probably three months as we have got to fix that up.

“Scott has got a rotator cuff injury so we have got to just wait and see what happens with that.

“By in large, those are the only two (injuries from the game).

"Francois Venter has got a bit of a dead leg so we won’t play him at the weekend either as I don’t want to risk him.”
