HOLDERS Archdales 73 moved into the President's Cup third round after easily beating Newhall 2-0 at Claines Lane.
The first-half was dominated by Dales and they were unlucky to still be level at the interval.
Lee Seldon went close and Dan Sullivan found the net but the effort was disallowed for a foul.
In the second-half, Sullivan grabbed the first by poking home Duncan Edwards' left-wing cross.
Sam Green then came off the bench to score his second goal in as many games after a great solo run, beating four players before slotting home.
