WESTFIELDS extended their unbeaten Midland Alliance run to six games when they drew 1-1 with previous leaders Friar Lane and Epworth.
In a tremendous game with chances at both ends, Shaun Prince crashed a header against the post on 10 minutes.
Keeper Jon Pugh denied John Chapman's powerful drive but Westfields broke the deadlock early in the second-half through Mark Davis from Prince's nod-down.
Prince clipped the bar and Davis had an effort cleared.
But Andy Payne sent a 20-yard free-kick crashing against the Westfields bar before Chapman headed in the leveller late on.
