THE first staging of the Worcestershire Masters will be hosted at the Vale Golf & Country club next week.

The tournament will run for three days from from June 30 to July 2nd, with the pre-event Pro Am taking place on June 29th.

The event makes up part of the 2021 PGA EuroPro Tour and is based mainly in the UK with a majority of British based players competing, with others coming from Ireland and Continental Europe.

It provides professional golfers with an entry point to a career in tournament golf and every event on the Tour is televised on Sky Sports Golf in the UK and around the world on other partner channels, with the 2-hour programme airing in the week following on from the event in the UK.

Overall, the Worcestershire Masters will be broadcasted to 500 million homes in over 140 countries.

Worcestershire based GLAL.UK will be the headline sponsor of the 2021 event.
