Bishops Cleeve and Worcester City played out a competitive 1-1 pre-season draw at Kayte Lane on Tuesday evening.
Will Gibbons scored his first of the summer after just ten minutes, reacting first to Demetri Brown's strike hitting the post.
The hosts drew level when a corner eventually found it's way over the line despite City's keeper Kyle De Garis' best efforts to keep it out.
George Baker hit the cross-bar with a free-kick and Cleeve were denied by a diving Fortune Maphosa in the second-half as the game ended all square.
It had been a slow start from the hosts, who were fortunate not to be a goal down after just three minutes when Gibbons' tap in was ruled out for a foul.
But he was not to be denied soon afterwards as Gibbons headed home after Brown's goalward strike crashed back off the post.
Cleeve woke up and worked their way back into the game and the equaliser came after 24 minutes when a scramble saw the ball cross the line.
City hit the bar through Baker's looping free-kick but the scores remained 1-1 at the break.
The hosts came close to going ahead when Jack Watts' strike was blocked by centre-half Maphosa in front of goal.
There were few chances after that as both sides made changes but City's Billy Shaw came closest to a late winner, with the keeper blocking his shot on goal.
