KINGFISHERS claimed their second consecutive title after a convincing win over Thunderbirds in Worcester Friendly Skittle League Monday Division One.

Skipper Jon Ridlinton weighed in with a season-best 48. Travellers finished runners-up after a long battle for top spot.

The Division Two title eventually went to Harry's Heroes with Prince Boys second.

It followed a mammoth three-way battle involving County Officers, who missed out on promotion narrowly.
