MALVERN Town lost their last match of the British Gas Business Division One Midlands campaign 2-1 at Bishop's Cleeve.

Joe Rawle's men started brightly as Darren Andrews and Jamie Hyde went close.

But Cleeve woke up, forcing Nick Clayton to clear off the line and then hitting the post.

The hosts started the second-half on the boil and Luke Corbett rose highest to head home a corner on 47 minutes.

Second-from-bottom Town equalised eight minutes later through Bryan Craven.

But Cleeve regained the lead through Alton Axton on 59 minutes and Clayton was sent off for two yellow cards 20 minutes from time.
